Hi, I’m Karly. As a former realtor, I understand firsthand the challenges agents face and the role great marketing plays in building a successful business. I founded Foothills Real Estate Media to provide agents with a reliable, high-quality media partner that makes marketing listings simple, professional, and stress-free.
Today, I lead our team with a focus on exceptional service, strong systems, and helping realtors elevate both their listings and their brands throughout Southern Alberta. My goal has always been to build a company that agents can trust to consistently deliver exceptional media, outstanding customer service, and a seamless experience from start to finish.
FUN FACT: When I’m not working in the business, you’ll usually find me spending time with my husband and two daughters, tackling a new home renovation project, or rearranging furniture and redecorating far more often than necessary. I also have a passion for systems, strategy, and business growth. Outside of Foothills, I coach service-based business owners on operations and scalability and have helped more than 40 companies improve their systems while growing their businesses.

Justin Whittaker
Hi, I’m Justin. As Lead Creative and Co-Owner of Foothills Real Estate Media, I’ve spent the past eight years helping real estate professionals market thousands of properties through high-quality visual content and strategic marketing.
My passion is combining creativity with storytelling to create media that not only showcases a home but also helps agents build stronger brands and grow their businesses. As Foothills has grown, I’ve enjoyed helping shape the creative direction of the company while continually pushing the standard of real estate marketing forward.
Having called Calgary home for the past several years, I also love showcasing the communities, neighbourhoods, and lifestyle that make Southern Alberta such a great place to live.
FUN FACT: When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me spending time with my wife, Diamond, and our Rottweiler, Thumper. On weekends, we love trying new restaurants, taking drives to the mountains, and discovering great local spots around Alberta. I also enjoy playing basketball whenever I get the chance.
After years of creating media that helps bring homes to the forefront—homes that become the next chapter in someone else’s life—my long-term goal is to one day retire in the Philippines and enjoy a slower pace of life.

Born and raised in Calgary, I’m a creative specialist with Foothills Real Estate Media. My favorite part of the Foothills experience is building relationships with new realtors and helping bring their listings to life through compelling visual content. I thrive in social environments and enjoy making clients feel relaxed, confident, and comfortable in front of the camera. I also love collaborating with coworkers and industry partners to ensure every project delivers exceptional results for our clients.
When I’m not trying to convince a client’s cat to become the star of the listing shoot, you can find me serving the citizens of Calgary as a firefighter at Station 17 in Varsity.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, meeting new people, golfing, and adding to my tattoo collection—one painful session at a time.
Nicole
Hi, I’m Nicole, a Creative Specialist at Foothills Real Estate Media. Calgary, Alberta has always been home, though I spent a few years living in Kelowna, British Columbia. For the past five years, I’ve worked in marketing, and I’ve been behind the camera for more than eight years continually developing my skills.
After starting my photography journey with families, engagements, and weddings, I found my true passion in real estate and interior design photography. I focus on creating clean, inviting images that showcase the character, design, and functionality of a space, helping properties stand out and attract the right buyers.
I enjoy the creativity and constant evolution of real estate media. Every home tells a different story, and I’m always looking for new ways to present properties effectively through thoughtful photography, ongoing learning, and the continued expansion of my skill set. My goal is to deliver visual content that leaves a lasting impression and highlights each property's full potential.
FUN FACT: On my off days, you’ll usually find me exploring the mountains, photographing landscapes and nature, checking out Calgary’s newest restaurants and breweries, or spending time with friends and family. My dream is to one day trade city life for a small mountain town.

Originally from Saskatchewan (Go Riders!!!!!!), I made the move to Alberta a few years ago to be closer to the mountains and pursue my passion for photography. For the past six years, I’ve been working in real estate media, and I genuinely love what I do. Every home has its own story, and I enjoy finding creative ways to showcase each property at its very best.
One of the best parts of this industry has been the people. I’ve had the opportunity to meet so many incredible clients and professionals along the way, and I’m grateful to be part of such an amazing team.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me spending time with my boyfriend and our dog in Okotoks. We love getting outdoors, playing pickleball, taking spontaneous road trips, and exploring new places whenever we can. And no matter where the adventure takes us, there’s a good chance it’ll end with ice cream or sushi.
Yurie
Hi, I’m Yurie. As Foothills’ Client Care Manager, I’m often the first person you’ll connect with when booking a shoot, asking a question, or following up on a project. I work behind the scenes to keep everything organized and running smoothly, helping coordinate appointments, support our clients throughout the process, and ensure every project stays on track from booking to delivery.
My professional background began in customer service before transitioning into content moderation and remote support roles. Along the way, I also worked in both retail and restaurant environments, gaining valuable experience in a variety of customer-facing positions. Those experiences taught me how to communicate effectively, adapt to different situations, and anticipate clients’ needs before they arise.
Today, I bring that same mindset to Foothills, focusing on clear communication, attention to detail, and creating a seamless, stress-free experience for every client we serve.
FUN FACT: When I find a TV series or movie I love, I become completely invested from start to finish—sometimes a little too invested. You’ll often find me watching cast interviews, behind-the-scenes content, and anything else I can find long after I’ve finished watching.
I also love trying new restaurants, exploring different cuisines, and dreaming up future travel adventures as I slowly work my way through my bucket list.
As an only child, I’ve always had pets around to keep me company. Over the years I’ve had dogs, hamsters, fish, rabbits, and birds. These days I’ve reluctantly become a cat person—though as a lifelong dog lover, I still insist it’s only temporary.
